About the Study

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The period after having a baby is usually filled with joy and happiness, but some new mothers experience postpartum depression and other problems with their mental health and well-being. Strong evidence suggests physical activity during this postpartum period can promote positive mental health and well-being, but it’s not always easy to fit physical activity into the day, especially when caring for a new baby is added to all the other responsibilities of life.


The goal of the POW Study is to learn more about how an online exercise program  designed specifically for postpartum women  can suppor​t their physical activity goals, mental health, and well-being.
