Sylvia Badon, PhD
Co-Principal Investigator
Staff Scientist, Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research
As a perinatal epidemiologist, I am passionate about women's health and using research to understand and improve the physical and mental health of women during pregnancy and postpartum. Much of my research is focused on health-impacting behaviors, such as physical activity and sleep, and includes identifying resources that can help women include and improve these behaviors in their daily lives. It's important to me that we develop resources for improving health during postpartum that take into account the specific challenges women face during this time.
